On April 5th, 2024 you could be there live on the 4th FRS Helgoline Music-Cruise and celebrate the exclusive album release concert of KETTCAR on Heligoland in the "Nordseehalle". We then returned home with many wonderful memories and impressions in our luggage.
In the tradition of outstanding musical events that have brought artists such as Johannes Oerding, Thees Uhlmann and Fettes Brot to the stage in recent years, FRS Helgoline set sail for another unforgettable experience. In cooperation with our valued partners, the Grand Hotel van Cleef and the island of Heligoland, as well as the culinary support of Weddigs Fischerstube, this event was a combination of music, culture and gastronomy.
With numerous concert-goers and KETTCAR, the stars of the evening, on board, the "Halunder Jet" set off at 09:00 from the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken in Hamburg for an exciting day. The first musical highlight took place during the crossing: Thees Uhlmann, well-known artist of the Music-Cruise 2022, created a great atmosphere with his guitar and turned the high-speed catamaran into a floating stage on the Elbe.
After a short stopover in Cuxhaven, the cruise continued towards Helgoland, where passengers were able to enjoy their afternoon at leisure before the exclusive album release concert by KETTCAR finally got underway in the impressive "Nordseehalle" at 4:30 pm. For around two hours, the band delivered an impressive show with numerous new songs that got the audience dancing and created an incomparable atmosphere that no one would soon forget. At 8:00 p.m., it was time to head back to the mainland with many wonderful memories.

Kettcar
Kettcar, a band from Hamburg, are defined by their haunting melodies and profound lyrics.
Their sixth studio album "Gute Laune ungerecht verteilt", which will be released on April 5, 2024, promises an impressive mix of rugged post-punk thunderstorms, acoustic sounds and spoken word.
The twelve songs tell stories from everyday life, sometimes with their fist in their pocket, sometimes with their heart in their throat.
The first single from the album is called "München" and has been available since January 19, 2024.
