We want our guests to feel at home. Passengers with limited mobility will also be able to use and experience every area of the new ship. When building the new Heligoland catamaran, we also gave a great deal of thought to comfort.
And comfort begins while we are still on land: the gangways to the new Heligoland catamaran are considerably wider and designed in such a way that they can be easily negotiated with buggies, wheelchairs and other aids.
On board, an integrated lift is easily accessed and it transports passengers comfortably from one deck to another. Each deck is also equipped with a disabled toilet.
Our Jet Class and Premium Class areas have 28 special seats with movable armrests, making it easier for our passengers to sit down and stand up.
We have also increased the number of wheelchair places: wheelchairs can be secured quite easily to the ground in a total of ten locations, which means that our passengers can remain seated comfortably.
